My Personal Story

My name is Tara Martindale. I am married with 4 kids. I live in Ontario, Canada. I work as a Supervisor/Cashier at Shoppers Drug Mart in my area. I stayed at home raising my children until my youngest was in grade 1 and started to go to school full time. I wanted something to do and the extra money came in handy. 

Over the years my hair had become thinner and I’ve always had problems with frizz and hair that did not cooperate! I was looking into products to help with hair growth and thickness. I seen a post on Facebook from a person I’ve known since we were kids. I inquired about it but thought it was a bit pricey. 

Over the next few months I was still looking for something and looking into the prices for these products, they were going to be the same if not more than Monat. I did some research on Monat and looked at the before and after photos and I was impressed. I was planning a meeting with my friend on a Saturday to talk about the product and the opportunity. I checked out her site and decided to just go for it and signed up as a VIP customer.. I received my products 2 days later.

I used my products and I liked the smell but wasn’t overly impressed with it just yet. I met up with my friend the next day and we talked about the opportunity….I had tried a DS company before and had very little success so I was kind of nervous to start another. That night I went to bed and was up half the night thinking about this company and the opportunity. I got excited thinking about the potential and possibilities. This company was only 9 months old in Canada and 2 years old in the U.S. Thinking about other companies that have been around for years and years and they are still going strong….what could this company do in future years. They are going to expand eventually! 

I made up my mind and Monday after I got done my other job I signed up as a market partner with Monat!! It’s very exciting to think about the future! I’m so glad I jumped on board because the people in this company are amazing, customer service is great, my sponsor is there for every question I have and she even hosted a little get together I had to present the products and opportunity.

My results with my hair have been awesome so far and it’s only going to get better. It was my third wash that I decided to try to blow dry my hair. I never blow dry because my hair doesn’t feel smooth and it goes frizzy! So I couldn’t believe how smooth and shiny my hair turned out…wow! That was when I became a true believer in these awesome products. I’ve been using the Rejuveniqe oil on my eye lashes and I can’t believe the new lashes coming in and they are getting thicker and longer! My daughter came home from a birthday party and she was so sun burnt….I was not happy!! That night I put Rejuveniqe Oil on her and the next morning the burn was gone!!

Seeing the way this company treats their market partners is just amazing! My goal is to help others improve their hair and self confidence and also help them every step of the way if they decide to jump in and start their own business! There is no limit to what the future holds!!

Hair Growth With IRT Shampoo

I started using the new IRT shampoo on August 17th. I'm also using the S3 Supplement, the masque, and a small amount of leave in with a couple drops of oil. My hair has grown quite a bit! My hair is very slow to grow usually so seeing this growth is very exciting for me!

It might be hard to see in the picture when just looking at it straight on but if you look at my shirt you can see the difference. The left photo was taken August 15th and the right was taken September 14th. I think it looks a lot better too. The before photo looks 100 times better than it did when I first started using Monat and it's just getting better over time!!

Side Effect Of Monat?

So the other night I was getting ready for bed and while brushing my teeth I noticed a pesky grey hair sticking straight up

on top of my head. As always, I plucked it out! But something was different this time. Usually the greys I pluck are just that, grey....and course!

This time the end of the hair was grey but the hair from root to mid way was BROWN! I was shocked....how is this possible? I remember reading about a woman being kind of upset because her Monat products were turning her silver locks back into her natural colour. She wanted her hair silver! So I did a bit of research and turns out there were more people this has happened to. It is just not something that is promoted by Monat because it's not something they tested and researched.

I read that the healthier scalp and bulb will grow healthier hair....after all it is anti-aging hair care. I'm just hoping this trend continues for me. I don't have a lot of grey hair but it will be coming soon. The ones I do have get plucked but I can only do that for so long....I'll end up with bald spots ;)

Can You See What I See?

I feel like I need to talk about this because there are so many misconceptions and myths. MLM, Direct Sales, Network Marketing......whatever you want to call it, is a legit way to own your own business and make damn good money doing it! Some people may think it's a scam or pyramid scheme! But what I would like to know is.....if it's a scam or pyramid then how is Avon, Mary Kay, Scentsy and other DS companies still out there making money and helping millions of people earn a living??

These companies have been around for years and years and they're still going strong. Monat has been in Canada for less than a year.....U.S. for 2 years. So imagine what it will be in 5, 10, 20 years! The possibilities are endless and I get goosebumps just thinking about it!

That is what made me really think twice when I joined just for the products.....and the fact that I realized how good the products were after just a few washes. This company is DEBT FREE!! They already have an established company that's been around for over 15 years, so they know what they're doing! They also own their own FDA approved lab and R&D facilities. 

The best thing about Monat is how they care about their Market Partners. It's like one big happy family and they reward you when you work hard and get the job done! I've been with this company less than 3 months and I've already been rewarded multiple times. Also within our teams we have contests and earn prizes. It's just awesome. 

How else can you start your very own business for $100-$1000. If you want to open up a brick and mortar business you're paying tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars!! You have bills to pay, employees to pay, maintenance, stock to keep up with and whatever else is required to keep the  company going. Also if the store is closed, you're not making money right? Seems much easier to start with a DS company. There is residual income with a DS business and your website is online 24/7 so you could be sleeping and earning money!

If you are interested in starting your own business but don't have a lot of money for start up and don't want to leave your home to go to work, this may be the perfect option for you!
